Tsuru Ton Tan Udon Noodle Brasserie, Ginza

Highly recommended if u love udon. I had the hot and sour udon with pork and love it. Waited for 30mins in queue and was totally worth it 👍 Also highly recommend their Matcha tiramisu cake for desert.

Curry udon at Tsuru TonTan was the first dish I tried during my trip to Japan. I spent the rest of my trip looking for a restaurant that could make it as good as Tsuru!

We had to queue for about 40min to get a spot at this place and the wait was certainly justified. The prices are very reasonable and the flavours are amazing. If you don't mind waiting and want a great meal you can remember, this is a good place to get just that.

A perfect place to have a dinning. They have delicious Japanese Cuisine along with an professional services. Staff is very cooperative and they will interact both in Japanese and English(US).

Biggest bowl of noodles in my life

waited for half and an hours. visited there with friend and she saw the line she recommended another brunch but i totally insisted this place due to this one is bigger. anyway, it was worth for waiting the line for me. and friend agreed with me at last. :p good for decide my quantity.

Probably one of the best udon spots in Ginza area. You can up your portion free of charge, and believe me, it will fill you up. Almost every item on the menu seemed reasonably priced. Fabulous ambience as well even for dates. Wait can be very long, but since we got here close to 10:30 at night, our wait wasn't longer than 10 minutes.

Definitely recommend this place! Very nice restaurant, big menu, someone was even playing the piano! Also, the udon is delicious! Definitely want to go here again

Waited for around 30 minutes to get in, but it was well worth it. Really tasty udon noodles with a great view for a great price! The staff handled the English better than expected as well.

This place was a great find. Price is really good for what you get and the location. Food is tasty, have abit of a western twist to some of the dishes. The view is amazing. The staff were fast and attentive. I’m just happy all round.

We had an awesome Udon meal here. They have an wide variety of Udon dishes from more traditional hot and cold Udon to various ones with different ingredients. The service was very good and the live entertainment really makes it a great meal.

Amazing dining experience. Just when u couldn't expect udon can go so well in a bar, it did. The night view was great, the food delicious, and price was quite reasonable. Just choosing my udon took 10 mins cos there’s so many good choices! The queue can get long at weekday evenings so be prepared to wait for a while.

Excellent food, great view, and affordable price! Just be ready to queue 10-20mn (or more) if you didn't booked (booking only if you're taking a course menu). But that honestly worth the wait 😉

Ok but not great. Slicker ambiance but not quite a "brasserie" (limited beer options... All Asahi). Big portion sizes but tempura was soggy. Limited English.

The wait for TsuruTonTan was about 30mins on a saturday evening around 7pm. During my visit, the staff offered me a complimentary aperitif which was sweet plum wine. It really got my appetite going! Service was very very good and they offer an english menu. Portions were good and for a small fee, you’re able to up-size your udon to a large portion. I will definitely be coming back again!

Stumbled on this restaurant when we were craving udon. It's on the 10th floor of a large shopping mall. The line moves quite quickly (waited 15-20 min at 12pm on a Monday). And the selection of udon and other japanese dishes is amazing. The bowl is huge and the udon has a great texture.

Food is OK. Not the best I have had and not cheap. Not a fan of the tempura batter.

Cream soup udon is good and special. 1.5 serving of udon noodle is proper if you are not very hungry.

The bowl's size is really distinguishing.Furthermore, the dish here is all distinctive with pastas flavor but made by udon!This is really worth a try.

I figured it would be good when we had to queue up and wait 20 minutes to be seated, given that there were plenty of other restaurants around with no wait.Udon was great. Sushi was good too, but I've learned now that I'm not a fan of cilantro inside my sushi roll.We got the kitsune udon and the shabu meat udon. Both were absolutely huge, the size of a giant salad serving bowl.Loved that we also got plastic bibs. I need that every noodle place I go!Udon can be a little dull sometimes but this was about as tasty as it could be and they had more varieties than I'd ever seen. Would definitely go back.

From a foodie myself. This place was good but it didn’t blow me away. The portions of food were good size but the bowls they served them in were so big it was intimidating. We waited 1 hour in line.

Ordered egg udon with additional prawn tempura. Value for money! The portion are HUGE (the bowls are).

The curry udon is a must try. Decent restaurant with band perform.

Waited about 30mins for a seat for 2. Requested to be seated by the window and was seated by the bar side. The seats were very comfy - loveseat style bar stools. You can change the amount of noodles you want at no extra cost.

Amazing food in big portions and amazing service enjoyed at a classy restaurant in a central location at a reasonable price, what's there not to love about this place? The Udon was delicious and huge and I can especially recommend the horse meat Yukhoe, probably one of the best steak tartares I've ever had, the deep fried (I think) garlic slices perfectly complimented the texture of the yolk-soaked meat and really eleveated the dish to whole nother level! Was so good I had to get 2...

Awesome food with great ambience. Bowls and spoon were huge which makes it fun. Queue was long but relatively fast moving as there were a lot of tables and service was quick. Creamy mentaiko udon seems to be a popular choice among females, not overwhelmingly creamy, just the right balance.

Very good udon with a large selection of different flavors. Would almost say the menu is a bit too long, but that may just be because I'm not as familiar with the cuisine. I had a unique sweet & sour udon, which lived you to it's name despite not tasting very Japanese. The service was very good and the ambiance in the restaurant is great for personal or business purposes. Would recommend.

Delicious as always! Got the Motsu udon (intestines) this time. Sounds a little daunting but I promise it’s very delicious!
